Imbalances, as referred to on this site, can be due to a number of reasons such as musclular / strain type injuries, nervous tension, overdevelopment of muscles, injury or secondary effects of injury.

In addition to the 25 main nerve and acupuncture points that Equissage treats, our consultant will locate your horse’s muscle related imbalances based on ‘stress points’ which are in spasm, and secure their release. The positioning of these stress points are diagramed below.

Once your consultant has provided you with the specific stress points effected in your horse, move your cursor over that point to view the main associated muscle, signs and symptoms of imbalance as well as an exercise and treatment plan.
